To address this, we migrated to AWS cloud infrastructure. AWS provides flexible, scalable resources that can handle fluctuating demand. The implementation of auto-scaling capabilities means that as traffic increases, the platform automatically scales up its resources (such as servers and storage) to accommodate the surge. This ensures the platform can manage high-traffic periods seamlessly without crashing, providing uninterrupted service to buyers and suppliers alike.

Problem

Game AnalDelays in updating stock levels across time zones. 

Solution

To eliminate delays, we implemented WebSocket protocols for instant data transmission. WebSockets allow for continuous, two-way communication between the platform and its users, ensuring real-time updates. As soon as a supplier updates their inventory, the information is instantly transmitted across the platform to all users, ensuring that stock levels are always accurate and up-to-date. This solution removed time zone barriers, improved the reliability of inventory data, and enhanced the overall user experience.
